Dedicated pharmacists

A dedicated Pharmacist will be assigned to your Care Home to manage day to day queries, complete Pharmacy Audits and Yearly Medication Reviews.

Medication administration

A complete ‘Medication Administration in Care Homes’ Training is provided to all the staff that works at our care homes and will be given a completion certicate upon completion.

Deliveries

Trolleys, CD cabinets and Fridge will be delivered straight to care homes a week before they start.

Preperation

Monthly medication preparation will be started in third week of your current cycle and will be delivered by beginning of your 4th week (depending on the prescriptions we receive from GPs in timely manner). we have record of delivering the monthly’s well before in time which should give care staff sufficient time to check and chase for anything they need.

Medical records

We supply Medication Returns Book, Controlled Drug Register, Medicine Pots, Pill Cutters, Pill Crushers and CD Destruction Kits to all our care homes.

Specialised software

Medwin uses specialised software to generate a custom designed Marcharts for our care home residents. Can find most of the resident’s information on the Marchart including Resident’s picture, Allergies, Pics of the medication and surgery information etc

Same day deliveries

Daily at least once a day delivery of interims up to twice a day deliveries. We prioritise same day delivery for Emergency Medication and Antibiotics.

Script collections

We order medication on your behalf if needed and dropping them in their respective surgeries. We also collect the scripts from the surgeries. Any missing scripts will be chased by our dispensers to make sure we receive all the scripts before start date
